Automatic handicapping

One of the biggest problems for operators is that beginners and experienced players may play the same game. Without some form of equalisation, beginners don't stand a chance and will become discouraged. The Laserforce system has a computer-controlled, multi-level skill ranking system that makes the game easier for beginners, while still challenging experienced players. The enclosed charts showhow skill levels and handicapping work.

Skill levels and special abilities

As a player plays more games, their average score increases. Laserforce software records average scores and places players into one of six skill levels. This determines the handicap that players receive against better players. Skill levels also unlock special abilities, though players can't use these abilities against less skilled players.

Membership features

Barcoded membership cards

Members use a card and ID number to log on to games, use the members' kiosk, receive discounts and view scores online.

Website access to member data

This enables players to view their player history online. (As this is an additional service, please call us for pricing.)

Members' kiosk

The members' kiosk enables players to interact with the control PC to view their statistics. It's extremely popular after each mission because a player can swipe their card to check whether their average score has increased, propelling them into a new skill level.
