Space Requirements

The optimal number of battlesuits for a site depends more on premises location than size. For example, a high-profile downtown location might have 30 battlesuits for a 300 m² arena, while a small town might need only 12 battlesuits. However, the general rule for planning is one battlesuit per 10 m² of space.

Laserforce centres are operating very successfully in arenas as small as 150m² (1,500f²). Larger Laserforce centres cover in excess of 1,000m² while the average size is 300–500m². The optimum number of battlesuits at a site depends more on the location than the size of the premises. As a general rule of thumb you can plan on one battlesuit per 10m² of space.

Generally, for stand-alone sites, the arena should occupy half the premises. However, you would also need space for your lobby, restrooms, offices, briefing room and armoury.
