Space Requirements

The optimal number of battlesuits for a site depends more on premises location than size. For example, a high-profile downtown location might have 30 battlesuits for a 300 m2 arena, while a small town might need only 12 battlesuits. However, the general rule for planning is one battlesuit per 10 m2 of space.
Laserforce centres are operating very successfully in arenas as small as 150m2 (1,500f2). Larger Laserforce centres cover in excess of 1,000m2 while the average size is 300–500m2. The optimum number of battlesuits at a site depends more on the location than the size of the premises. For example, a high profile downtown location could have 30 battlesuits in a 300 m2 arena, while in a small town a 12 battlesuit system may suffice. As a general rule of thumb you can plan on one battlesuit per 10m2 of space.
Generally, for stand-alone sites, the arena should occupy half the premises. However, you would also need space for your lobby, restrooms, offices, briefing room and armoury.
